Muscat Securities Market (MSM) indices ended Tuesday in the green amid high liquidity as the benchmark index rose again above 7500 points, adding 0.33% or 24.58 points and closing at 7515.25 points.
Liquidity increased compared with the last session as a total of 21.7 million shares were traded through 1463 transactions at a turnover of OMR 9 million, compared to the last session, during which a total of 11.7 million shares were traded through 702 transactions at a turnover of OMR 4.3 million.
A total of 58 companies traded today, of which 12 rose, 12 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
All market sectors rose today led by financial sector which soared by 0.70%, followed by the industrial and services sectors which gained 0.21% and 0.07%, respectively.
The top three gainers were Majan College which rose by 5.93% to OMR 0.500, Al Anwar Holding which increased by 3.90% to OMR 0.320 and VOLTAMP Energy which added 3.8% to OMR 0.436.
On the other hand, the top three losers were Dhofar Cattle Feed which plunged by 7.78% to OMR 0.166, Al Batinah Development Investment Holding which decreased by 2.67% to OMR 0.182 and Sohar Power which lost 1.55% to OMR 0.380.
